Projects overview

E-Coduct
2022–2025
The e-CODUCT project electrifies CO₂ and H₂S conversion into CO and sulfur using ETFB reactor technology, with potential CO-to-green-methanol conversion, driven by a consortium covering the full value chain.

ERC: 123Stable
2020–2024
The project studies changes in the atomic structure of nanoparticle electrocatalysts in fuel cells and electrolyzers to design stable catalysts and advance the hydrogen economy.

PROG - EES
2016–2019
The project develops Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) methods for lithium batteries and PEM fuel cells to predict degradation in electrochemical energy systems.

Life Cycle Assessment
2017–2019
The project involves conducting a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of batteries developed for the automotive industry.

KIC InnoEnergy
2015–2017
As an outreach partner at KIC InnoEnergy, we evaluated ultracapacitors for a leading European energy storage company to deliver high-performance, high-voltage solutions.

EUROLIS
2012–2016
The project addresses energy density, cycle life, and safety challenges in Li-S cells to enable wider adoption in the automotive industry and support more efficient, reliable electric vehicles.

Efficient Effective Smart
2012–2015
The project boosts regional competitiveness by advancing renewable energy, sustainable technologies, and research partnerships.

Electric Mobility
2010–2012
The project showcased electric vehicles, guiding students to convert a Renault Twingo into an electric car, now used by the National Institute of Chemistry and later donated to the Technical Museum of Slovenia.
