CO NOT is a non-profit institute dedicated to harnessing Slovenia’s full potential to drive the comprehensive and systematic development of advanced technologies, accelerating the nation’s transition to a low-carbon society.

Established in 2009: Founded as a private institution by a consortium of 22 partners.
Selected as a Center of Excellence: Chosen by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in 2009.
Funded through 2013: Supported by the EU (ERDF) and the Republic of Slovenia.
Diverse Partnerships: Includes 3 research institutions and 10 industrial partners.
Research Specialization: Focuses on battery and hydrogen technologies.
Collaboration Opportunities: Open to partnerships with companies in the low-carbon technology sector.
