Aleksa Kojčinovićfocuses on upgrading lignocellulosic biomass into value-added products through hydrogenation and carboxylation reactions, with a specialization in lignin-derived aromatics. His work includes developing microkinetic models, coordinating small- to mid-sized projects, and collaborating on national, international (Horizon), and industrial projects. His expertise also covers hydrogen technologies, CO₂ utilization, recycling, and chemical looping. He has extensive hands-on experience with high-pressure/high-temperature reactors and advanced analytical methods.

Outside the lab, Aleksa enjoys scuba diving, basketball, traveling, and cooking.
