Members of the Expert Council: Vladimir Jovan, PhD Stanko Hočevar, PhD Jure Vindišar, MSc The goals of the Centre of Excellence are as follows: a) to unite leading researchers and producers of new technologies that will replace the current fossil fuel based technologies in the medium or long term, b) to carry out facilitated and harmonised research and the development of new technologies based on relevant goal-oriented and demonstration projects in the areas defined under Item (a), c) to promote cooperation between the CoE members and outside partners (both domestic and foreign), d) to obtain further funding for increased intensity and scope of research, e) to ensure the continuation of activities after the end of funding in 2013. The listed goals also apply to the development and management of the CoE. The main components are as follows: 1. The establishment of efficient organisational and managerial structures. 2. The organisation of expert workshops where partners will report project results and decide on further activities. 3. Dissemination in order to promote CoE activities. 4. Acquiring new sources of financing. CoE management is divided into two logical subunits: a) optimising the consumption of allocated funds, b) acquiring additional resources. |
